What a smashing day the club had at their Dales Away day this month.   Four of us set off well prepared for a serious ride in some glorious countryside.

First we tackled the hard climb to Cock Hill, we then rode up Greenhow dropping down a cracking descent to Appletreewick before the toughest climb of the day up to Hebden and Grassington Moor where we looked around the old mine workings and buildings before dropping again into Hebdon where we sampled some local ale !

Next the killer Climb to Bardon Moor followed by another cracking descent and then a nice moorland crossing before another superb descent into Pately where we had an appointment with the Bridge Inn where we recounted near misses and derring do and some great laughs from the day's ride.
